New Background Check Program

ATTENTION ALL COACHES AND ADMINISTRATORS!

US Youth Soccer of Nevada has instituted a new background check program for all coaches, team managers and other carded officials.  This new program is in response to more stringent risk management procedures, all of which are aimed at maintaining a safe environment for our players and young volunteers.  Submitting to a background check is a requirement for all carded officials and volunteers.

We are beginning the background check process immediately.  Again, this process is required for all coaches, assistant coaches, team administrators and other carded officials.  You are being asked to submit your information in a timely manner in accordance with the schedule outlined below.  Once your background check is completed, you will not be asked to submit to another background check for three years.

You will note that the processing of the background check requires a $6 fee to be paid by all of our volunteers.  We regret that we must charge our volunteers for this procedure.  However, the background check process is an expensive undertaking and, given the importance of safeguarding the youth under our administration, it is a rather small price to pay.

The $6 fee is payable on-line as a part of the process. If you do not have access to the internet, or do not have a credit card, you can fill out the form and pay the fee at the State Office.
